What is a Welcome Renewal Weekend?
The Welcome Renewal Weekend is a spiritual renewal process designed to bring members of our parish together in Christ. Welcome has a clear focus on the Gospel and emphasizes continued growth in Christian life through scripture study, prayer, the sacraments, and fellowship with members of our Emmaus Catholic Parish community. The retreat begins early on Saturday morning and goes until mid-afternoon on Sunday. There is no cost to participants and all meals are included.
Sacraments are a part of the weekend, with Mass being celebrated on Saturday evening. Reconciliation is offered to participants with our parish or visiting priests.
Welcome is for anyone who seeks spiritual renewal and desires to gain a deeper sense of purpose and fellowship within our parish community. If you feel that Christ is calling you through the Holy Spirit, please answer the call. Welcome is open to all Emmaus parishioners who are at least 19 years of age.
