Walking with Purpose

The Walking with Purpose Bible study programs combine personal study with small group discussion, linking our everyday challenges to the solutions given to use through the teachings of Christ and the Catholic Church.

Opening Your Heart

The next study, called Opening Your Heart, is a two-part 22-week Women’s Faith Formation study that will take you on an exciting journey closer to the heart of God, guiding you towards a personal relationship with Christ to help find answers to life’s biggest questions through the context of the Catholic faith.

• How can I conquer my fears?
• What is the role of the Holy Spirit in my life?
• What does the Eucharist have to do with my friendship with Christ?
• What are the limits of Christ’s forgiveness?
• Why and how should I pray?
• What is the role of suffering in my life?
• What challenges will I face in my efforts to follow Jesus more closely?
  

Classes are held on Thursdays

Part 1: September 5th - November 14th

Part 2: January 9th - March 20th

We are offering two class options at Emmaus.

When registering below, please designate which class you would like to attend.

Morning Class at Emmaus Parish Life Center: 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

Evening Class at Emmaus Parish Life Center: 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

Materials fee: $55; Registration includes study workbook. Register and pre-order below or find us in the Narthex on August 17th and 18th to register and purchase/pick-up your study book. You can also come to our Open House Social to learn more about the Walking with Purpose program.

Come join us August 24th in the Arches Room of the Pastoral Office from 10am- 12:00 pm.
